Let me introduce myself


My name is Tausha Blaksley and I started my career in real estate in 2017. I have had many different “jobs” in my adult life, but never felt like one thing alone was my calling. I have a long background in office management, customer service and accounting. I am also a certified peer counselor, which I have found especially helpful with guiding buyers and sellers through the emotional component of this process. I pride myself in being able to help my clients have a good experience despite the stresses of buying & selling. Real estate gives me the opportunity to combine all my skills behind the desk and with people, all these experiences have led me to become the amazing agent! I am an extravert and my personality shines when I am working with clients and other agents! I now get to do something that I absolutely LOVE and WANT to do every day!


I am a teacher at heart, and love educating people about homeownership! I pride myself in making sure that all buyer and sellers really understand the process they are going through so they feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.


I am certified to teach the WSFHC class to first time home buyers, which is a mandatory requirement for buyers utilizing the down payment assistance as a DPA. I also partner with PCHA in their homeownership program, to educate housing participants how to become homeowners and am also a board commissioner for PCHA as well. A lot of the lower income population does not believe that home ownership is for them, or that there are too many barriers. Not only do I show them that homeownership does not have to be ‘just a dream’, but I show them how getting out of poverty and providing for your family’s future, through homeownership, is an obtainable goal with hard work and perseverance. My certification in Peer Counseling helps me relate to homeowners, and share that lived experience, giving them comfort in the home buying and selling process.


Pre-covid, I started a success team which I called “Sisters In Success”. It was for woman in our community to encourage each other, motivate another to reach goals, and rise in the working world! I believe in rising others up and supporting and helping others reach their dreams. Not just in my professional world, but all around us. I can’t wait for things to get back to normal so I can start that back up again! Since covid became a “new norm” I started doing community events. To bring our community together, lift small businesses and just create joy!


I am a mother of two amazing children, who are my world! In my spare time I am usually doing activities that are family oriented, and typically have a handful of children with me. I love being a real estate agent, as I get to see families grow and create a future for themselves and a legacy to pass on, teaches our children values. My favorite clients are families, as I treat them as one unit in the home buying process, including everyone! I even have little goodie bags in my car to give the children something to do so parents can really focus on looking at a home.
